Formerly known as Christian Service Center, Gateway Homeless Services is the largest 24-hour emergency shelter for single women and families in the state of Missouri. The shelter provides 110 beds and three home-cooked meals a day to residents. In addition, lunches are provided daily. for drop-ins. Various programs and referrals are available, often leading to transitional or permanent housing.The organization works with Grace Hill and Washington University to provide health services. Requires HRC referral.

The Shalom House 90-day, 25-bed Emergency Shelter provides emergency shelter for women suffering from persistent mental illness and/or chemical dependency.
