In order to apply for jobs online, you need an active email account. Free accounts may be set up at yahoo.com and google.com, (gmail) among other places. Do this first if you'd like to register and don't have an account. This can be done at most libraries.

The City of St. Louis has "banned the box." That means that applications for employment with the City of St. Louis will no longer require job applicants to check a box if they have a felony conviction. This is becoming more widespread with other employers as well.
